This morning, I had better luck getting something to share with you. On the chalkboard by the cash register at the coffee shop, was the following quote:
"Failure is success if we learn from it."
What do you think this quote means? When have you learned from a failure? Share a time you were successful in something after experiencing failure first. How do you suppose thinking about this quote might help you with future failures?
President Theodore Roosevelt once said of the Grand Canyon, "Do nothing to mar its grandeur...keep it for your children, your children's children, and all who come after you as the one great sight which every American should see."
Think about a natural place you have seen, heard of, or read about. Do you think it should be preserved for future generations to enjoy? Why? What actions could be taken to preserve the place?
